Cloak of the sleeping

Gazing at the image behind my fear
Symphony of broken tears I hear

Breathing on the mirror I disappear
suddenly a face unknown is here

Walking beneath this cloak of the sleeping
Drifting among their dreams
Reaching inside this fortress of evening
Nothing is what it seems

Morphing the illusion I change my clay
Spicing it a bit with a sip of the day

Spelling out the spell in a spellbound say
Taking on reality my own way

Keeping all the realms inside
Watching all the faces die
Breaking what is sanctified
Feeling all electrified

Bitten by the lizard I liquefy
Raining down below through the holes in the sky
