Reaching outside for the singing moon
Howling at the wind to the wolfmans tune
This was his voice of the breaching lune

Running through the clouds on an endless stream
Showering his mind in a bath of dreams
This was the source of his self-esteem

Once there was a man who walked on the stars

These are the puzzles he hid in his mind
These are the things undefined

Leaping through the trees on a masquerade
Turning every leaf as the night would fade
This was the search for his long lost shade

swimming in the lake of the silvered scar
surfing down deep on a shooting star
this was the birth of his avatar

Once there was a man who walked on the stars……

he thought he died
on his trip back through time
he thought he lied
turned truth to crime

he thought he vanished from the earth
he thought he nullified his birth
he thought he never learnt to dive
he thought he drowned yet still alive

opening the doorway to the stattered lands
seeing all the shadows smoothly shaking hands
this is the key now he understands
